PRAGUE/VIENNA versus PARIS

Hmm the more I read about my options on the web, the farther I am getting away from Paris. Do I REEEEALLYY have to see the Louvre ?

Somehow, I didn't quite enjoy my visit to Paris. Maybe its just me. The Louvre is H U M O N G O U S. I mapped out the few famous items I wanted to see, planned it out on a map and STILL got lost. Almost a whole day there and I came out in a daze. Too many things, too little time. The MonaLisa was a letdown! You can only see it from like 5 feet away, and its MUCH smaller than I expected.

Err. But let me not discourage you from going to Paris :P

Hehe...no worries. We have actually decided NOT to do Paris. So many of our friends have been there and it feels as though I can visit Paris through their photos already! So we have now decided on Prague, Austria and maybe Switzerland!

Tempting....aaaaaaaaargghh! So many places... so little time...
Well, we have about two weeks in March. Have booked the tickets to and fro Amsterdam. Whatever in between those days we haven't decided. Let me show hubby your site..ha ha! But we REALLY wanna go Austria and Prague. How far is Italy from there? Hmm I gotta go look at the map :P

Dunno about the distance, but a quick googling shows its possible to fly from Rome to Prague for about EUR96. Its a two hour flight.
